Tvach (Sanskrit त्वच् tvac f., Nom. Sg. त्वक् tvak) Haut, Membran; Natternhemd, Schlangenhaut; Fell; Rinde, Borke; eine Heil- und Gewürzpflanze aus der Familie der Lorbeergewächse (Lauraceae): Ceylon-Zimtbaum (Cinnamomum verum); Zimt, Zimtrinde; Zimtkassie (Cinnamomum cassia, Tvakpattra), Cassia-Rinde, Cassia-Zimt; die Rinde des Indischen Lorbeerblattes (Cinnamomum tamala, Tamala); Erdoberfläche; Decke, Abdeckung.
Tvach (Sanskrit त्वच् tvac) - Tvach als Sanskrit Verb hat die Bedeutung gehen, bedecken, abdecken.
