Ikshuraka (Sanskrit: इक्षुरक ikṣuraka m.) Echter Kapernstrauch (Capparis spinosa); eine Grasart aus der Familie der Süßgräser (Poaceae): Saccharum spontaneum (Kasha); eine Heilpflanze aus der Familie der Akanthusgewächse (Acanthaceae): Hygrophila auriculata.
Ikshuraka im Ayurveda
In der Charaka Samhita (Sutra Sthana 4.12) gilt Ikshuraka (Hygrophila auriculata) im Rahmen der Aufzählung der 50 Mahakashayas als Shukrashodhana.
