1. Eranda (Sanskrit: एरण्ड eraṇḍa m.) eine Heilpflanze aus der Familie der Wolfsmilchgewächse (Euphorbiaceae): Wunderbaum (Ricinus communis), woraus Rizinusöl (Airanda) gewonnen wird.


2. Eranda (Sanskrit: एरण्डा eraṇḍā f.) Langer Pfeffer (Pippali).

Eranda im Ayurveda

In der Charaka Samhita (Sutra Sthana 4.9, 13, 17) gilt Eranda im Rahmen der Aufzählung der 50 Mahakashayas als Bhedaniya, Svedopaga und Angamardaprashamana.
