Die Yogachudamani Upanishad oder auch Yogachudamanyupanishad (Sanskrit: योगचूडामण्युपनिषद् yoga-cūḍāmaṇy-upaniṣad f.) ist ein Teil der indischen Heiligen Schriften, die Veda genannt werden. Die Yogachudamani Upanishad gehört zum Samaveda und wird außerdem den Yoga Upanishaden zugeordnet.

॥ yoga-cūḍāmaṇy-upaniṣat ॥

yoga-cūḍāmaṇiṃ vakṣye yogināṃ hita-kāmyayā ।

kaivalya-siddhidaṃ gūḍhaṃ sevitaṃ yoga-vittamaiḥ ॥ 1 ॥

āsanaṃ prāṇa-saṃrodhaḥ pratyāhāraś ca dhāraṇā ।

dhyānaṃ samādhir etāni yogāṅgāni bhavanti ṣaṭ ॥ 2 ॥

ekaṃ siddhāsanaṃ proktaṃ dvitīyaṃ kamalāsanam ।

ṣaṭ-cakraṃ ṣoḍaśādhāraṃ tri-lakṣyaṃ vyoma-pañcakam ॥ 3 ॥

sva-dehe yo na jānāti tasya siddhiḥ kathaṃ bhavet ।

catur-dalaṃ syād ādhāraṃ svādhiṣṭhānaṃ ca ṣaḍ-dalam ॥ 4 ॥

nāgaḥ kūrmo'tha kṛkaro deva-datto dhanañ-jayaḥ ।

hṛdi prāṇaḥ sthito nityam apāno guda-maṇḍale ॥ 23 ॥

samāno nābhi-deśe tu udānaḥ kaṇṭha-madhyagaḥ ।

vyānaḥ sarva-śarīre tu pradhānāḥ pañca-vāyavaḥ ॥ 24 ॥

rajju-baddho yathā śyeno gato'py ākṛṣyate punaḥ ।

guṇa-baddhas tathā jīvaḥ prāṇāpānena karṣati ॥ 29 ॥

prāṇāpāna-vaśo jīvo hy adhaścordhvaṃ ca gacchati ।

ūrdhvādhaḥ-saṃsthitāv etau yo jānāti sa yoga-vit ।

ṣaṭ-śatāni divā-rātrau sahasrāṇy eka-viṃśatiḥ ॥ 32 ॥

ajapā nāma gāyatrī yogināṃ mokṣadā sadā ॥ 33 ॥

asyāḥ saṅkalpa-mātreṇa sarva-pāpaiḥ pramucyate ।

anayā sadṛśī vidyā anayā sadṛśo japaḥ ॥ 34 ॥

anayā sadṛśaṃ jñānaṃ na bhūtaṃ na bhaviṣyati ।

kuṇḍalinyāṃ samudbhūtā gāyatrī prāṇa-dhāriṇī ॥ 35 ॥

prāṇa-vidyā mahā-vidyā yas tāṃ vetti sa veda-vit ।

kandordhve kuṇḍalī-śaktir aṣṭadhā kuṇḍalākṛtiḥ ॥ 36 ॥

brahma-dvāra-mukhaṃ nityaṃ mukhenācchādya tiṣṭhati ।

yena dvāreṇa gantavyaṃ brahmad-vāram anāmayam ॥ 37 ॥

mukhenācchādya tad dvāraṃ prasuptā parameśvarī ।

prabuddhā vahni-yogena manasā marutā saha ॥ 38 ॥

sūci-vad gātram ādāya vrajaty ūrdhvaṃ suṣumnayā ।

udghāṭayet kavāṭaṃ tu yathā kuñcikayā gṛham ।
kuṇḍalinyā tathā yogī mokṣa-dvāraṃ prabhedayet ॥ 39 ॥

kṛtvā saṃpuṭitau karau dṛḍhataraṃ baddhvātha padmāsanaṃ

gāḍhaṃ vakṣasi saṃnidhāya cubukaṃ dhyānaṃ ca tacceṣṭitam ।

vāraṃ vārama pānam ūrdhvam anilaṃ procchārayet pūritaṃ

muñcan prāṇam upaiti bodham atulaṃ śakti-prabhāvān naraḥ ॥ 40 ॥

aṅgānāṃ mardanaṃ kṛtvā śrama-saṃjāta-vāriṇā ।

kaṭv-amla-lavaṇa-tyāgī kṣīra-bhojanam ācaret ॥ 41 ॥

brahma-cārī mitāhārī yogī yoga-parāyaṇaḥ ।

abdād ūrdhvaṃ bhavet siddho nātra kāryā vicāraṇā ॥ 42 ॥

su-snigdha-madhurāhāraś caturthāṃśāvaśeṣitaḥ ।

bhuñjate śiva-saṃprītyā mitāhārī sa ucyate ॥ 43 ॥

kandordhve kuṇḍalī-śaktir aṣṭadhā kuṇḍalākṛtiḥ ।

bandhanāya ca mūḍhānāṃ yogināṃ mokṣadā sadā ॥ 44 ॥

mahā-mudrā nabho-mudrā oḍyāṇaṃ ca jalandharam ।

mūla-bandhaṃ ca yo vetti sa yogī mukti-bhājanam ॥ 45 ॥

pārṣṇi-ghātena saṃpīḍya yonim ākuñcayed dṛḍham ।

apānam ūrdhva mākṛṣya mūla-bandho'yam ucyate ॥ 46 ॥

apāna-prāṇayor aikyaṃ kṣayān mūtra-purīṣayoḥ ।

yuvā bhavati vṛddho'pi satataṃ mūla-bandhanāt ॥ 47 ॥

oḍyāṇaṃ kurute yasmād aviśrāntaṃ mahā-khagaḥ ।

oḍḍiyāṇaṃ tad eva syān mṛtyu-mātaṅga-kesarī ॥ 48 ॥

udarāt paścimaṃ tāṇam adho nābher nigadyate ।

oḍyāṇam udare bandhas tatra bandho vidhīyate ॥ 49 ॥

badhnāti hi śiro-jātam adhogāmi nabho-jalam ।

tato jālan-dharo bandhaḥ kaṇṭha-duḥkhaugha-nāśanaḥ ॥ 50 ॥

jālan-dhare kṛte bandhe kaṇṭha-duḥkhaugha-nāśane (l.v.: kaṇṭha-saṅkoca-lakṣaṇe) ।

na pīyūṣaṃ pataty agnau na ca vāyuḥ pradhāvati ॥ 51 ॥

kapāla-kuhare jihvā praviṣṭā viparītagā ।

bhruvor antar-gatā dṛṣṭir mudrā bhavati khe-carī ॥ 52 ॥

na rogo maraṇaṃ tasya na nidrā na kṣudhā tṛṣā ।

na ca mūrcchā bhavet tasya yo mudrāṃ vetti khe-carīm ॥ 53 ॥

pīḍyate na ca rogeṇa lipyate na sa karmabhiḥ ।

bādhyate na ca kenāpi yo mudrāṃ vetti khe-carīm ॥ 54 ॥

cittaṃ carati khe yasmāj jihvā carati khe yataḥ ।

teneyaṃ khe-carī mudrā sarva-siddha-namas-kṛtā ॥ 55 ॥

bindu-mūla-śarīraṇi sirā yatra pratiṣṭhitāḥ ।

bhāvayantī śarīrāṇi ā-pāda-tala-mastakam ॥ 56 ॥

khe-caryā mudritaṃ yena vivaraṃ lambikordhvataḥ ।

na tasya kṣīyate binduḥ kāminyāliṅgitasya ca ॥ 57 ॥

yāvad binduḥ sthito dehe tāvan mṛtyu-bhayaṃ kutaḥ ।

yāvad baddhā nabho-mudrā tāvad bindur na gacchati ॥ 58 ॥

jvalito'pi yathā binduḥ saṃprāptaś ca hutāśanam ।

vrajaty ūrdhvaṃ gataḥ śaktyā niruddho yoni-mudrayā ॥ 59 ॥

sa punar dvi-vidho binduḥ pāṇḍaro lohitas tathā ।

svayaṃ-jyotir-ātmikā । ātmana ākāśaḥ saṃbhūtaḥ । ākāśād vāyuḥ । vāyor agniḥ । agner āpaḥ । adbhyaḥ pṛthivī । eteṣāṃ pañca-bhūtānāṃ patayaḥ pañca sadā-śiveśvara-rudra-viṣṇu-brahmāṇaś ceti । teṣāṃ brahmaviṣṇu-rudrāś cotpatti-sthiti-laya-kartāraḥ । rājaso brahmā sāttviko viṣṇus tāmaso rudra iti | ete trayo guṇa-yuktāḥ । brahmā devānāṃ prathamaḥ saṃbabhūva । dhātā ca sṛṣṭau viṣṇuś ca sthitau rudraś ca nāśe bhogāya candraḥ (iti) prathamajā babhūvuḥ । eteṣāṃ brahmaṇo lokā deva-tiryaṅ-na- ra-sthāvarāś ca jāyante । teṣāṃ manuṣyādīnāṃ pañca-bhūta-samavāyaḥ śarīram । jñāna-karmendriyai- r jñāna-viṣayaiḥ prāṇādi-pañca-vāyu-mano-buddhi-cittāhaṅ-kāraiḥ sthūla-kalpitaiḥ so'pi sthūla-prakṛtir-ity ucyate । jñāna-karmendriyai- r jñāna-viṣayaiḥ prāṇādi-pañca-vāyu-mano-buddhibhiś ca sūkṣma-stho'pi liṅga mevety ucyate । guṇa-traya-yuktaṃ kāraṇam । sarveṣā mevaṃ trīṇi śarīrāṇi vartante । jāgrat-svapna-suṣupti- turīyāś cety avasthāś catasraḥ tāsām avasthānām adhipataya- ś catvāraḥ puruṣā viśva-taijasa-prājñātmānaś ceti । viśvo hi sthūlabhuṅnityaṃ taijasaḥ praviviktabhuk । ānandabhuktayā prājñaḥ sarvasākṣītyataḥ paraḥ ॥ 72॥ praṇataḥ sarvadā tiṣṭhetsarvajīveṣu bhogataḥ । abhirāmastu sarvāsu hyavasthāsu hyadhomukhaḥ ॥ 73॥ akāra ukāro makāraśceti vedāstrayo lokāstrayo guṇāstrīṇyakṣarāṇi trayaḥ svarā evaṃ praṇavaḥ prakāśate । akāro jāgrati netre vartate sarvajantuṣu । ukāraḥ kaṇṭhataḥ svapne makāro hṛdi suptitaḥ ॥ 74॥ virāḍviśvaḥ sthūlaścākāraḥ । hiraṇyagarbhastaijasaḥ sūkṣmaśca ukāraḥ । kāraṇāvyākṛtaprājñaśca makāraḥ । akāro rājaso rakto brahma cetana ucyate । ukāraḥ sāttvikaḥ śuklo viṣṇurityabhidhīyate ॥ 75॥ makārastāmasaḥ kṛṣṇo rudraśceti tathocyate । praṇavātprabhavo brahmā praṇavātprabhavo hariḥ ॥ 76॥ praṇavātprabhavo rudraḥ praṇavo hi paro bhavet । akāre līyate brahmā hyukāre līyate hariḥ ॥ 77॥ makāre līyate rudraḥ praṇavo hi prakāśate । jñānināmūrdhvago bhūyādajñāne syādadhomukhaḥ ॥ 78॥ evaṃ vai praṇavastiṣṭhedyastaṃ veda sa vedavit । anāhatasvarūpeṇa jñānināmūrdhvago bhavet ॥ 79॥ tailadhārāmivācchinnaṃ dīrghaghaṇṭāninādavat । praṇavasya dhvanistadvattadagraṃ brahma cocyate ॥ 80॥jyotirmayaṃ tadagraṃ syādavācyaṃ buddhisūkṣmataḥ । dadṛśurye mahātmāno yastaṃ veda sa vedavit ॥ 81॥ jāgrannetradvayormadhye haṃsa eva prakāśate । sakāraḥ khecarī proktastvaṃpadaṃ ceti niścitam ॥ 82॥ hakāraḥ parameśaḥ syāttatpadaṃ ceti niścitam । sakāro dhyāyate janturhakāro hi bhaveddhṛvam ॥ 83॥ indriyairbadhyate jīva ātmā caiva na badhyate । mamatvena bhavejjīvo nirmamatvena kevalaḥ ॥ 84॥ bhūrbhuvaḥ svarime lokāḥ somasūryāgnidevatāḥ । yasya mātrāsu tiṣṭhanti tatparaṃ jyotiromiti ॥ 85॥ kriyā icchā tathā jñānaṃ brāhmī raudrī ca vaiṣṇavī । tridhā mātrāsthitiryatra tatparaṃ jyotiromiti ॥ 86॥ vacasā tajjapennityaṃ vapuṣā tatsamabhyaset । manasā tajjapennityaṃ tatparaṃ jyotiromiti ॥ 87॥ śucirvāpyaśucirvāpi yo japetpraṇavaṃ sadā । na sa lipyati pāpena padmapatramivāmbhasā ॥ 88॥ cale vāte calo bindurniścale niścalo bhavet । yogī sthāṇutvamāpnoti tato vāyuṃ nirundhayet ॥ 89॥ yāvadvāyuḥ sthito dehe tāvajjīvo na muñcati । maraṇaṃ tasya niṣkrāntistato vāyuṃ nirundhayet ॥ 90॥ yāvadvāyuḥ sthito dehe tāvajjīvo na muñcati । yāvaddṛṣṭirbhruvormadhye tāvatkālaṃ bhayaṃ kutaḥ ॥ 91॥ alpakālabhayādbrahmanprāṇāyamaparo bhavet । yogino munaścaiva tataḥ prāṇānnirodhayet ॥ 92॥ ṣaḍviṃśadaṅgulirhaṃsaḥ prayāṇaṃ kurute bahiḥ । vāmadakṣiṇamārgeṇa prāṇāyāmo vidhīyate ॥ 93॥ śuddhimeti yadā sarvaṃ nāḍīcakraṃ malākulam । tadaiva jāyate yogī prāṇasaṃgrahaṇakṣamaḥ ॥ 94॥ baddhapadmāsano yogī prāṇaṃ candreṇa pūrayet । dhārayedvā yathāśaktyā bhūyaḥ sūryeṇa recayet ॥ 95॥ amṛtodadhisaṃkāśaṃ gokṣīradhavalopamam । dhyātvā candramasaṃ bimbaṃ prāṇāyāme sukhī bhavet ॥ 96॥ sphuratprajvalasaṃjvālāpūjyamādityamaṇḍalam । dhyātvā hṛdi sthitaṃ yogī prāṇāyāme sukhī bhavet ॥ 97॥ prāṇaṃ cediḍayā pibenniyamitaṃ bhūyo'nyathā recaye- tpītvā piṅgalayā samīraṇamatho baddhvā tyajedvāmayā । sūryācandramasoranena vidhinā bindudvayaṃ dhyāyataḥ śuddhā nāḍigaṇā bhavanti yamino māsadvayādūrdhvataḥ ॥ 98॥ yatheṣṭadhāraṇaṃ vāyoranalasya pradīpanam । nādābhivyaktirārogyaṃ jāyate nāḍiśodhanāt ॥ 99॥ prāṇo dehasthito yāvadapānaṃ tu nirundhayet । ekaśvāsamayī mātrā ūrdhvādho gagane gatiḥ ॥ 100॥ recakaḥ pūrakaścaiva kumbhakaḥ praṇavātmakaḥ । prāṇāyāmo bhavedevaṃ mātrādvādaśasaṃyutaḥ ॥ 101॥ mātrādvādaśasaṃyuktau divākaraniśākarau । doṣajālamabadhnantau jñātavyau yogibhiḥ sadā ॥ 102॥ pūrakaṃ dvādaśaṃ kuryātkumbhakaṃ ṣoḍaśaṃ bhavet । recakaṃ daśa coṅkāraḥ prāṇāyāmaḥ sa ucyate ॥ 103॥ adhame dvādaśamātrā madhyame dviguṇā matā । uttame triguṇā proktā prāṇāyāmasya nirṇayaḥ ॥ 104॥ adhame svedajananaṃ kampo bhavati madhyame । uttame sthānamāpnoti tato vāyuṃ nirundhayet ॥ 105॥ baddhapadmāsano yogī namaskṛtya guruṃ śivam । nāsāgradṛṣṭirekākī prāṇāyāmaṃ samabhyaset ॥ 106॥ dvārāṇāṃ nava saṃnirudhya marutaṃ badhvā dṛḍhāṃ dhāraṇāṃ nītvā kālamapānavahnisahitaṃ śaktyā samaṃ cālitam । ātmadhyānayutastvanena vidhinā ghrinyasya mūrdhni sthiraṃ yāvattiṣṭhati tāvadeva mahatāṃ saṅgo na saṃstūyate ॥ 107॥ prāṇāyāmo bhavedevaṃ pātakendhanapāvakaḥ । bhavodadhimahāsetuḥ procyate yogibhiḥ sadā ॥ 108॥ āsanena rujaṃ hanti prāṇāyāmena pātakam । vikāraṃ mānasaṃ yogī pratyāhāreṇa muñcati ॥ 109॥ dhāraṇābhirmanodhairyaṃ yāti caitanyamadbhutam । samādhau mokṣamāpnoti tyaktvā karma śubhāśubham ॥ 110॥ prāṇāyāmadviṣaṭkena pratyāhāraḥ prakīrtitaḥ । pratyāhāradviṣaṭkena jāyate dhāraṇā śubhā ॥ 111॥ dhāraṇādvādaśa proktaṃ dhyānaṃ yogaviśāradaiḥ । dhyānadvādaśakenaiva samādhirabhidhīyate ॥ 112॥ yatsamādhau paraṃjyotiranantaṃ viśvatomukham । tasmindṛṣṭe kriyākarma yātāyāto na vidyate ॥ 113॥ saṃbaddhāsanameḍhramaṅghriyugalaṃ karṇākṣināsāpuṭa- dvārādyaṅgulibhirniyamya pavanaṃ vaktreṇa vā pūritam । badhvā vakṣasi bahvayānasahitaṃ mūrdhni sthiraṃ dhāraye- devaṃ yānti viśeṣatattvasamatāṃ yogīśvarāstanmanaḥ ॥ 114॥ gaganaṃ pavane prāpte dhvanirutpadyate mahān । ghaṇṭādīnāṃ pravādyānāṃ nādasiddhirudīritā ॥ 115॥ prāṇāyāmena yuktena sarvarogakṣayo bhavet । prāṇāyāmaviyuktebhyaḥ sarvarogasamudbhavaḥ ॥ 116॥ hikkā kāsastathā śvāsaḥ śiraḥkarṇākṣivedanāḥ । bhavanti vividhā rogāḥ pavanavyatyayakramāt ॥ 117॥ yathā siṃho gajo vyāghro bhavedvaśyaḥ śanaiḥ śanaiḥ । tathaiva sevito vāyuranyathā hanti sādhakam ॥ 118॥ yuktaṃyuktaṃ tyajedvāyuṃ yuktaṃyuktaṃ prapūrayet । yuktaṃyuktaṃ prabadhnīyādevaṃ siddhimavāpnuyāt ॥ 119॥ caratāṃ cakṣurādīnāṃ viṣayeṣu yathākramam । yatpratyāharaṇaṃ teṣāṃ pratyāharaḥ sa ucyate ॥ 120॥ yathā tṛtīyakāle tu raviḥ pratyāharetprabhām । tṛtīyaṅgasthito yogī vikāraṃ manasaṃ haredītyupaniṣat । oṃ āpyāyantu mamāṅgāni vākprāṇaścakṣuḥ śrotramatho balamindriyāṇi ca sarvāṇi sarvaṃ brahmopaniṣadaṃ māhaṃ brahma nirākuryāṃ mā mā brahma nirākarodanirākaraṇa- mastvanirākaraṇaṃ mestu tadātmani nirate ya upaniṣatsu dharmāste mayi santu te mayi te mayi santu ॥ oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ॥ iti yogacūḍāmaṇyupaniṣatsamāptā ॥
