Shashikanta (Sanskrit: शशिकान्त śaśi-kānta m. u. n.) wörtl.: "Geliebter (Kanta) des Mondes (Shashin)"; ein bestimmter Edelstein, der "Mondstein" (Chandrakanta); die sich bei Mondschein öffnende Blüte der weißen Wasserlilie; Weiße Seerose (Kumuda).
