1. Va (Sanskrit व va) ist ein Buchstabe des Sanskrit Alphabets, der zur Gruppe der Halbvokale (Antahstha) gehört.

2. Va (Sanskrit व va m.) ist auch eine symbolische Bezeichnung Varunas und seiner Wohnstätte.

3. Va (Sanskrit व va) kann im Sinne der Partikel Iva "wie" stehen sowie im Sinne der Präposition Ava "herab".

4. Va (Sanskrit वा vā indekl.) ist eine Partikel und bedeutet: oder. Wenn vā zweimal steht, bedeutet es: "entweder ... oder ...".

5. Va (Sanskrit वा vā) ist eine Sanskrit Verbalwurzel (Dhatu) und bedeutet: wehen, herbeiwehen, anwehen, riechen, ushauchen, ausdünsten, sich verbreiten, blasen. Das PPP dieser Wurzel lautet Vata.
