Shashin

Shashin (Sanskrit: शशिन् śaśin, Nom. Sg. m.), Shashi (Sanskrit:शशी Nom. Sg. m.) wörtl.: "der einen Hasen (Shasha) hat"; Mond. Der Name rührt daher, dass man im Mond die Gestalt eines Hasen (Shasha) gesehen hat.
