Setubandha

Setubandha (Sanskrit: सेतुबन्ध setubandha m.) wörtl.: "die Errichtung (Bandha) eines Dammes bzw. einer Brücke (Setu)"; Damm, Brücke; Ramas Brücke. Eine Angleichung von Felsformationen zwischen dem Kontinent und Ceylon, die auf Karten "Adamsbrücke" (Rama Setu) oder auch Samudraru genannt wird. Es gibt ein Gedicht, das "Setubandha" oder Setukavya heißt und den Bau der Brücke von Ramas Verbündeten beinhaltet.
