Annapurna: (Sanskrit: अन्नपूर्ना annapūrnā f.) wörtl.: "jene, die voller Nahrung (Anna) ist", d.h. die Nahrung spendende, göttliche Mutter; Name der göttlichen Mutter Durga oder Parvati. Ihr Attribut ist ein Reistopf, in den sie ihre Hände steckt. Ein Berg im Himalaya in Nepal trägt denselben Namen.
