'''Katyayani Mantras '''
Note:  This page is currently in Work in Progress mode

The collaboration between Yoga Vidya (Germany) and SVYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, India) represents a meaningful bridge between traditional yogic wisdom and modern scientific research. Both institutions share a common vision: to make the holistic practice of yoga accessible to a wide and diverse public, supporting individuals on their journey toward health, inner balance, and spiritual realization.

At the heart of this partnership lies the understanding that yoga is far more than physical exercise. It is a comprehensive system that addresses body, mind, and spirit. Through their cooperation, Yoga Vidya and SVYASA aim to help people understand yoga in its full depth and to integrate its principles into daily life—whether for therapeutic purposes, stress management, personal growth, or the pursuit of liberation (moksha) and enlightenment.

SVYASA, based in Bangalore, is internationally recognized for its scientific approach to yoga. It combines ancient teachings with modern research, particularly in the fields of yoga therapy and integrative medicine. Under the guidance of Dr. H. R. Nagendra, SVYASA has developed evidence-based yoga programs that are applied worldwide. Dr. Nagendra, who previously worked as a scientist at NASA, brings a unique perspective by integrating rigorous scientific inquiry with the spiritual depth of yoga. As a leading figure in the tradition inspired by Swami Vivekananda, he has dedicated his life to validating yoga through science while preserving its authentic roots.

Rooted in the teachings of Swami Sivananda, Yoga Vidya promotes a holistic path that includes physical practices (asanas), breath control (pranayama), meditation, devotion (bhakti), selfless service (karma yoga), and philosophical inquiry (jnana yoga). Sukadev has been instrumental in spreading authentic yoga teachings throughout Europe, making them accessible to a broad audience through seminars, teacher trainings, and publications.

A central expression of this collaboration is the development of specialized, intensive yoga therapy retreats. Together, Yoga Vidya and SVYASA offer total immersion programs designed to support people with specific health challenges, including joint pain, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, as well as anxiety and depression.

In der 'Bhagavata Purana' im 10. Canto, 22.
These retreats focus on a holistic and individualized approach. Participants receive personal counseling and guidance, combined with tailored yoga practices such as specific asanas (postures), specialized pranayama (breathing techniques), cyclic meditation, guided deep relaxation, and positive thinking methods. This is complemented by a sattvic, organic vegan diet and the supportive environment of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The programs take place at the Yoga Vidya Ashram in Bad Meinberg, offering a green and conducive setting for healing and inner growth.
