| '''Bhringaraj''' (Sanskrit: Bhringaraja, Kesharaja, latein.: Eclipta alba), wörtlich übersetzt heisst das "Herrscher der Haare", da die Pflanze den haarwuchs fördert. Bhringaraj bremst die Alterung, ist ein Verjüngungs- und Stärkungsmittel für Knochen, Zähne, Haare, Sehrkraft, Gehör und Gedächtnis. Die Pflanze ist v.a. für Pitta gut, da sie leberstärkend wirkt. Das Bhringaraj-Öl ist berühmt dafür, dass es üppigen Haarwuchs fördert, es verhilft aber auch zu einem tifen Schlaf und hat eine beruhigende Wirkung.
