1. Vishala (Sanskrit: विशाल viśāla adj. u. m.) umfänglich, weit, breit, groß, stark, intensiv, bedeutend, vornehm; ein bestimmtes (antilopenartiges) Tier; ein bestimmter Vogel; eine bestimmte Pflanze; Name eines Gebirges; Name eines Wallfahrtsortes.
2. Vishala (Sanskrit: विशाला viśālā f.) Koloquinte (Indravaruni); Malabar-Spinat bzw. Basell-Kartoffel (Basella cordifolia); Portulaca quadrifida (Lonika); Beiname der Stadt Ujjayini; Name des Flusses Sarasvati und einer daran gelegenen Einsiedelei; Name einer Apsaras.
